Menu

First Course - Turkey "empanada ": pastry dough stuffed with braised turkey, queso oaxaca, pumpkin blossoms, fingerling potatoes and serrano chile

Second Course - Cured and roasted beef back ribs, romanesco cauliflower and romesco salsa, fresh tortillas

Third Course - Carrot and olive oil cake, ajonjoli halwa hair

 

Instructions

First Course -

OVEN:
• Place empanada only in a 375°F oven for 8 minutes or until warmed through.
• Transfer to a plate and garnish with salsa and the brussels sprouts salad.
MICROWAVE:
• Remove salsa and brussels sprout salad from container and set aside.
• Place container with empanada into the microwave, lid ajar, for 1 min on high heat or until warmed through.
• Transfer to plate, garnish with salsa and the brussels sprouts salad and enjoy!

Second Course - **Our tortillas will dry out in the microwave or oven! Please see our Instagram highlights for best stovetop preparation tutorial: @altacalidadbk**

OVEN:
• Place short rib slices only in a 375°F oven for 8 minutes or until warmed through.
• Place tortillas in a nonstick pan over med-high heat (on your stovetop) with a few drops of water under each tortilla. Flip and repeat on each side, 20-30 sec each, tortillas should be soft and pliable [please see @altacalidadbk Instagram Story Highlights for reheating tutorial!]
• Assemble tacos with chipotle mayo spread on the bottom of the tortillas, topped short rib slices and garnished with queso, salsa and pickled onions. Enjoy!

• Remove tortillas, salsa, mayo, pickled onions and queso from container and set aside.
